My Personal Healing Journey and Mission To Help You Overcome too!

About Me

I am a licensed therapist in California with a master’s degree in Counseling. My approach is grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS), helping clients connect with and understand their deepest feelings and inner parts. These emotions and internal dynamics often hold the key to healing old wounds and creating meaningful change. I combine evidence-based practices with a compassionate, heart-centered approach, providing a safe space where you can explore your experiences, recognize patterns that keep you stuck, and gradually build emotional freedom. My goal is to support your growth and resilience, helping you navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and cultivate a life of hope, balance, and well-being.

My Journey

Growing up as one of eight children in a chaotic, hustle-and-bustle home, I often had to navigate my own difficult emotions on my own. Even as a child, I sensed that I needed someone who truly showed they cared and had the ability to help, but I didn’t know where to turn. This experience, and years of searching for understanding, ultimately inspired me to pursue my own personal work as a therapy client. That journey has allowed me to heal deeply and create a life I love, sharing it with my wife of over 25 years and our two children now in college. While life still has its challenges, I approach it now with greater clarity, connection, and a sense of fulfillment that I hope to help others discover in their own journeys.

Natural Curiosity for Psychology

Looking back, I can see that I was always meant to be a therapist. I have long been fascinated by the psychology behind human behavior and the underlying causes of people’s actions. Even as a child, I would notice someone struggling or acting out and quietly wonder, “What’s driving that behavior? Perhaps they have a difficult home life or are being bullied.” I have always been a sensitive soul, naturally attuned to others’ pain, and I spent many years helping people long before it became my profession

Life Beyond the Therapy Room

When I’m not working as a therapist, I love spending time with my family and close friends, hiking national parks, and visiting the wineries along the California Coast. I also enjoy friendly competition—whether it’s board games, horseshoes, or corn hole with family and friends, weightlifting, or playing basketball with the guys. I’m passionate about learning too, diving into books on psychology and spirituality, and sharing fun moments with my family and watching films inspired by real-life stories together.
